After a 20-year career in Corporate Communications and Public Relations of which the last fifteen were devoted to leading her own consulting business, Marie-Josée now works on mandates related to both governance and business strategy. Her artistic work has been recognized in Women in Photography International – a Tribute to Cartier-Bresson and at the International Photography Awards in Los Angeles. She is particularly proud of her Rencontres photographiques du Palais Montcalm©, where her short stories mix with large black and white images. Marie-Josée designed, developed and directed the entire project – now a permanent exhibition and institutional collection – for the Quebec City concert hall, where the likes of Karina Gauvin, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Joe Lovano, John Pizzarelli, Zachary Richard, Suzanne Vega, Alain Lefèvre, Bernard Labadie, the late Montserrat Figueras and Maestro Jordi Savall, and some 15 other artists from here and abroad filed past her lens. Some of her photographs are available at Grizzly Montreal. Marie-Josée shares her life between the Eastern Townships region in Quebec and Tuscany.
