Life as an Artist

Marie-Josée’s artistic work has been recognized three times at the International Photography Awards (@iphotoawards)  (@photoawards) as well as in Women in Photography International – a Tribute to Cartier-Bresson. She is particularly proud of her Rencontres photographiques du Palais Montcalm©, where her short stories mix with large black and white images. Marie-Josée designed and directed the entire project – now a permanent exhibition and institutional collection – for the Québec City concert hall, where the likes of Alain Lefèvre, Karina Gauvin, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Joe Lovano, John Pizzarelli, Zachary Richard, Suzanne Vega, Bernard Labadie, the late Montserrat Figueras and Maestro Jordi Savall, and some 15 other international artists filed past her lens. Already present in private collections, you can email her directly to acquire a photograph. Some of her work done through her time spent in Italy can also be seen in Montréal at Lucca restaurant.
